Q. Are you a franchise?
A. No. We are not a franchise in any way. We convert a Van or Trailer for you to set up your own mobile dog grooming business.
Q. What type of van or trailer do I need?
A. We can convert any van providing it has at least 3 metres in load length and has a high top.
Our trailer is based on an Ifor Williams BV105 with 7ft headroom and van doors, if you would like a different trailer converted you need to contact us prior to purchasing it.
Q. Can I have a second hand van converted?
A. Yes of course, there is no reason why we can't convert a second hand van. Just be sure that it is in good condition and you are getting a good deal.
Q. Will you source the van or trailer for me?
A. Yes we can source both the vans and trailers, and any deal we get on either we pass straight on to you. There is no extra charge for this service.
Q. How much should I budget for a Van or Trailer?
A. We would recommend that you budget no less than £7000 + VAT for a van. Remember you are investing between £7500 -£9950 on the conversion and once thats in it is very difficult to remove so the last thing you want is your van to fail on you. Also if your van doesn't work then you don't work!
For a brand new Ifor Williams BV105 it costs between £3000-3500 + VAT.
Q. How long does the conversion take?
A. It's take 3-4 weeks for both a Van and Trailer conversion. It is advsiable that you book a production slot as early as you can by putting a £25% deposit down then the remaining balance is due 5 days before we start the conversion.
Q. When do I have to pay for the conversion?
A. We ask for full payment with order because this is a specialist conversion which cannot be undone without incurring further costs.
Q. I am having trouble finding an insurance company?
A. Don't worry you are not alone! Check out our links page, there are three companies who some of our customers have used.
Remember to tell them that the conversion has been carried out by a professional company and that certificates can be provided. Also it is good for them to know that all the equipment is fixed to the van or trailer and is very difficult to remove.
Q. I don't know what Hydrobath suits me?
A. No problem if you are unsure then give our friendly sales team a call and they will tell you which of the Hydrobaths best suits you.
Q. What sort of aftersales service will I receive?
A. All of our products come with a 12 month warranty including the conversions. As we do not have a national service team we have designed our Conversions and Hydrobaths so that any plumber or electrician will be able to fix a problem. If this happens within the years warranty we will cover the cost of the bill.
